Equipment Test

Installation Test

Installation work is, as far as can reasonably be ascertained, of a reasonable standard.

Entire System Test

The entire system has been inspected and tested in accordance with the recommendations of 39.2c of BS5839-1:2025. (A tick Box is provided in Section 3 of the Log Book to confirm each test).

False Alarm Test

Taking into account the guidance given in BS5839-1:2025 Section 3, I have not identified any obvious potential for an unacceptable rate of false alarms.

Documentation

The documentation described in clause 40 has been given to the user (design, installation and commissioning certificates, adequate manuals for the use and maintenance of the equipment, "as fitted" drawing(s), insulation resistance test records and logbook).

Acceptance of Commissioning

The system has been commissioned in accordance with company procedures and meets the required standards. Any variations are detailed within section 11 above.
